Poet Diana Khoi Nguyen to Visit 91短视频

Acclaimed poet Diana Khoi Nguyen, a finalist for the National Book Award for her debut collection 鈥淕host Of,鈥� will speak at the University of South Alabama at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 in the Student Center Terrace Room.
During her visit to 91短视频, she will also hold a workshop and conference with South鈥檚 poetry students.
Nguyen, who lives in Denver where she is studying for a doctorate in creative writing, also teaches in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
Her debut book also won Omnidawn鈥檚 Open Contest in 2018. Both a poet and a multimedia artist, her work has appeared in Poetry, American Poetry Review, Boston Review, and PEN America, among others.
In addition to winning the 92Y Discovery/Boston Review Poetry Contest, she has received awards and scholarships from the Academy of American Poets, Bread Loaf Writers Conference and the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center.
